meltblown nonwoven production line

Document comparison for a meltblown nonwoven production line happens before a supplier is selected. Reifenhäuser RF4 public notes distinguish single-row and multirow spinneret arrangements and mention fiber diameter in µm, capillary holes in hpi and output in kg/h/m. Those labels belong on the RFQ. They do not certify a finished respirator, and they do not tell you who owns process air. Resolve spinneret layout, web-property trials and utility ownership before you treat two prices as the same object.

Document comparison: Design input

Buyer states polymer, target fiber diameter if known, gsm, usable width, and whether the web is for filtration, absorption or elastic composites. Electrical supply, cooling water, compressed air demand and process-air room constraints belong in the same packet. Quantity, destination and requested delivery window sit beside the technical envelope. Optional budget is a buyer preference, not a verified market price.

Supplier answer

Each factory returns spinneret row language, listed tooling, connected load, footprint, PLC interface, and a statement on who supplies the process-air system. It must attach the document set it will stand behind: offer, scope drawing, utility schedule, spare-parts list and any FAT protocol. If a public kg/h/m figure is cited, the supplier must restate it against the buyer’s polymer and gsm—not copy a brochure cell.

Open deviation

Common gaps: process air omitted, trial fabric different from the RFQ polymer, filtration claims without a named test method, missing SAT attendance, and spare spinneret items left in a footnote. A fine-fiber specification is not a protective-product certificate. Do not close those gaps with industry averages. Keep them on the comparison table until the bidder writes an answer.

Meltblown quote packet compared by document bucket
Bucket Must appear on the offer Not established by a brochure cell
Spinneret Single-row or multirow language and spare tooling Mask or device certification
Process air Included, excluded, or buyer-supplied with capacity basis Hall rendering that shows fans
Web trial Polymer, gsm, width and test method A kg/h/m figure without fabric
Acceptance FAT/SAT attendance and first-roll criteria A verbal “typical hygiene line”
